A citizen volunteers to make protective masks at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University in Xi'an, capital of northwest China's Shaanxi Province, Feb. 7, 2020. More than 30 medical workers and volunteers have been able to make some 500 protective masks per day at the hospital. The self-made masks will be further tested, and qualified ones are going to be used for the hospital's emergency medical material reserve.

手作りマスクで備蓄確保 陝西省西安市

7日、西安交通大学第二付属医院消毒供給センターで、マスクを作る医療スタッフ。

中国陝西省の西安交通大学第二付属医院消毒供給センターでは、医療スタッフとボランティア約30人が医療用包装材料の不織布や医療機器用吸収シート、N95メルトブローンフィルターなどを利用してマスクを手作りしている。改良を重ねた結果、現在では1日500枚以上のマスクの製作が可能になった。手作りマスクは同省医療機器品質監督検査部門の検査に合格した後、マスクが不足している期間の同院の緊急物資備蓄に充てられる。
